Earn a Master's Degree in SLP
Complete a master's degree or equivalent from a CAA-accredited speech-language pathology program. Must include 300 hours of supervised clinical practicum across at least three different clinical settings.

Obtain an RPE Temporary License
Apply for the RPE temporary license ($35 fee) to begin your Required Professional Experience. Complete 36 weeks full-time or 72 weeks part-time of supervised clinical practice under a licensed SLP.

Pass the Praxis Examination
Achieve a passing score on the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology (test code 5331). The current passing score is 162. Score must be no more than five years old at the time of application.
